Steering Committee Overview

The Faith + Mental Health Steering Committee exists to guide and support the mission of bridging the gap between faith and mental health. By leveraging the expertise and insights of its members, the committee provides strategic direction, ensures accountability, and fosters collaboration among faith leaders, mental health professionals, and the community.

The committee is dedicated to:

  • Promoting awareness and education about the intersection of faith and mental health.

  • Advocating for the reduction of stigma and misconceptions surrounding mental health within faith-based and minority communities.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of programs, events, and resources that align with the initiative’s vision of holistic well-being.

  • Monitoring progress and ensuring that the initiative remains aligned with its core mission and objectives.

Through its work, the steering committee aims to create lasting impact by fostering environments where spiritual and mental health care seamlessly coexist to support individuals and communities in need.
